Interactions and Feedbacks between Biomass Burning and Water Cycle Dynamics across the Northern Sub-Saharan African Region

The Fire Radiative Power dataset is derived from NASA's MODIS instrument products. MODIS is flying on the Terra and Aqua satellites. Daily equatorial overpass times for Terra are at ~10:30am/pm LST, and for Aqua are at ~1:30am/pm LST.
The Carbon Monoxide Smoke Plume forecast dataset is derived from the Emissions Database for Global Atmospheric Research (EDGAR) emissions inventory ingested into the FLEXible PARTicle dispersion model (FLEXPART).
The Observational Precipitation dataset is taken from Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission's Integrated Multi-satellite Retrievals for GPM (IMERG) near-real-time products (Version 4) at 0.1×0.1° resolution, and the Forecasted Precipitation dataset is taken from NOAA's Global Forecast System product (GFS) at 0.25×0.25° resolution.
The date labels on the horizontal axis refer to the beginning of that date (i.e. 12am).
